Your robot questions, answered
How does it work with members of the public?
The Omnie has six safety features, LiDAR, 3D cameras and OmniVision to see people. The unit will make people aware of it’s presence, it will then go around people that are standing still. The Omnie will automatically come stop if someone were to walk in front of it.
How do you fill and empty it?
There is an optional workstation that can be plumbed into fresh water and waste outlets. Similar to a dishwasher requirements, when plugged into an electrical socket it will auto charge. With the workstation, the Omnie will empty the waste water down the drain and refill itself with clean water.
Can it clean spillages?
Yes absolutely, if the spillage is within sight of the Omnie, it will go and clean it up as part of its routine. But you can prioritise the task and manually take the unit to the spillage.
What floor types can the Omnie cover?
Natural stone, artificial stone, ceramic, PVC and expoy surfaces.
How big is it?
Te Omnie stands at just over a meter tall and 70cm wide.
