Passionate team enhancing efficiency through IT and robot solutions

Cliff and Paul, co-founders of Hospitable Automation, bring robots to businesses, boosting efficiency, revenue and customer engagement with trusted support and exciting growth potential.

"I have been in hospitality for nearly 30 years and in tech for over 25"

I have managed to pretty much cover all roles in hospitality from pot wash, chef, waiter all the way to Duty Manager. When it comes to tech, again engineer, installer, software engineer, trainer, support desk manager, account manager and sales manager. Hospitality and Education have always been passions of mine and I have the experience to understand them and advise on solutions that are only applicable and suitable.

Robotics is an emerging market, yet fully established at the same time. I am excited to be able to bring this to the forefront of businesses.

"I created my first company, Eat IT Drink IT in 2015 having realised the absolute need for an IT company that specialises in hospitality"

I believe that hospitality plays a critical role in the UK economy but many businesses are tailored for the ‘nine to five’ scene which simply doesn’t fit.

Hospitality also needs a helping hand and a company that finds not only the best tech, but brings it together to make a powerful platform, allowing venues to succeed and thrive is what powers Eat IT Drink IT, day to day. Robotics has the ability to take hospitality to the next level and I bring my knowledge and passion to the table ensure the right machines, for the right job, arrive with the right customers.

How do I know if a robot is right for my business?

We’re with you on your robot journey.
Hospitable Automation and Eat IT Drink IT have all the expertise to ensure a smooth deployment of all robotics.
We will map the robot's surroundings

From the initial site survey, we ascertain areas of concern. We will map the robot’s entire surroundings. Fire exits, lift waiting areas, stairs, escalators, exits will all be marked and zones set to keep the robots clear.

Training with full guidance

Training is essential to maximise the effectiveness of robotics, by identifying issues that prevent units from performing their tasks. Such as ensuring required doors are accessible, sensors are clean, or new tasks are correctly configured. With full guidance provided throughout the process.

Proactive support

Most issues can be resolved remotely over the phone; however, if required, an engineer can be dispatched to your site the next day and in the worst case a replacement unit will be arranged to minimise downtime.

FAQ

Your robot questions, answered

How much do the robots cost?

Our robots start at £84 + VAT per week on a lease basis, including three years’ warranty, support, delivery with mapping, setup and onsite same-day training. We also offer purchase price options and multiple robot discounts. The pricing for each robot is clearly included in each individual robot page.

What can the robots actually do?

Our range includes table, room service, cleaning and heavy-load robots. Service and heavy-load robots carry items from tables, rooms and across your business, even using lifts. Cleaning robots mop, sweep, dust and handle both indoor floors and outdoor areas with ease.

I like the idea of a robot, but will it work for our business?

As part of our process, we assess your needs to ensure a robot fits your business. If not, we’ll advise honestly. Our carefully tested, reliable robots come with lease pricing that includes ongoing support, keeping us available whenever you need assistance.

How does thepublic react to the robots?

During all of our interactions with the public, the reaction has wholly been positive. Generally, people are interested in the robots, wanting to interact with them, photo them. We are set on dismissing the myth that robotics are there to diminish customer service or replace staff.

How safe are the robots?

All units are CE certified. The robots are fitted with LiDAR navigation, meaning they stop immediately if someone walks in front of the robot. They will carefully navigate around humans and pets. As part of the installation our experienced engineers set boundaries, which the robot will not pass.
