FAQ

Your robot questions, answered

Can it work outside?

Yes it can, it does not like the rain however, but WeatherSense™ tells the robot to go back and charge when moisture is detected.

What will the Beetle collect?

From sand to wood chippings, plastic drinks bottles to pint glasses. The Beetle will collect leaves, twigs and grit.

How does it work around staff?

By using the LiDAR systems and 3D cameras the Beetle knows the difference between a permanent structure, a new object in its path and a human or animal. The robot will then produce an audible warning alongside the visual flashing warning light. The Beetle will wait and go round staff if they stay stationary.

Will it go back if it missed a bit?

Yes absolutely, the Beetle knows where it was not able to clean so it will repeatedly go back to see if it can now clean that space.

How big is it?

Te Beetle is just under a meter long and nearly 70cm tal.
